The food was of excellent quality, and it was evident that a lot of care and authenticity went into the preparation. While the flavors didn’t quite align with my personal preferences, I can appreciate the uniqueness and appeal of this cuisine for others. It was a lovely experience trying something new, and I’m glad I had the opportunity to explore Ethiopian food Good service too….cheers to the staffs

I sincerely highly recommend this place. The food was very incredibly delicious and service were amazing! If you are looking for authentic ethiopian food and hospitality in Dubai, this is 100/100 the place. I met someone living closer to the marina travel to eat in this restaurant weekly, he only eat Ethiopian food in this restaurant. Don’t let the negative reviews stop you from eating here. I am back in Singapore and often think about this spot in Dubai. Look forward to visit again
We splurged a bit and got both Doro Wat and Special Tibs with a mix of vegetable dishes and salad. We were hungry but we ended up having to take a good bit home because it was very generous. And we ate for several meals from the leftovers too - so the cost is actually more than fair! I encourage people to go with a group of four as everything was delicious! More than four, the competition could be too fierce for your favorites. I hope locals who haven’t tried Ethiopian will go to Zagol specifically! It is a superior example of the cuisine. So also anyone who knows the cuisine but is visiting Dubai, it’s a high recommend.
Nice and cosy place in the heart of Karama. Can seat about 10-12 people and they have quite a few options with vegetarian also. We opted for chicken but they give enough vegetable accompaniments and quite a few sauces some quite spicy too. Food was excellent and we were 4 and shared a large platter and it was really good. We will definitely go there again. We also had some ginger tea and Ethiopian coffee.
Love this place…food is fantastic..we even had seconds and left the place with our bellies stuffed…bring some time, bcs it’ll take a bit until your meal is ready but it’s totally worth the wait. Don’t forget to finish your meal with Ethiopian coffee…Will come back again and again
